My Steampunk Hook Mask WIP for Vandalia Con. A few more coats of paint, detailing, then added the lenses, and it'll be done!
I wish I could find a cheap material that will go on smoothly. Haven't found it yet.
This is a modified iron man mask with foam, caulk, wood glue and bits and ends attached. There are magnets inside the snout that will allow for easy connect/disconnect from the air tank tubes from my back piece.
What started as a mask has become a full helmet. It's actually easier to remove/put on as a helmet than a mask. I like it, but I also don't like the ripples. So far, I have mixed feelings on this.
